Welcome to My Blog!

Hi all, welcome to My Lego Blog! I’m a Teen Fan of Lego (TFOL) living in Singapore, and I started this blog because I wanted an outlet to share my passion for LEGO as a hobby, as well as all the problems us Singapore LEGO fans face living on this tiny island here in South-East Asia.

So, a few things about me.

I’ve been playing with LEGO since I was a kid, and my first ever lego set was 4888 - Underwater Exploration, which you can see from and image below. I really loved this set as it was very futuristic and everything, but unfortunately, I no longer have it anymore. (Read: I probably lost it somewhere)

Currently, I only collect LEGO Star Wars, and I’ve been collecting them for the past 2-3 years at the time of writing. As a kid, I really liked the Star Wars movies and cartoons, and I remember visiting local LEGO stores like Toyshunt, and spending time just looking at the amazing display of really expensive Star Wars Minifigures.

As stated above, I’m only a teen, so I have to rely on my own savings from my allowance to buy most of my LEGO, as such, this has led me to find many ways of saving money when buying these expensive brick-built toys.

Right now, I’m also looking into investing in LEGO, and maybe even parting out some sets to fund my hobby. In the future, you will probably see a few entries advertising any extra sets or Minifigures I may have for sale at lower-than-market prices.

Due to my schedule, I’ll be attending to this blog on a twice-weekly basis, and I’ll post an average of 1-2 articles a week relating to LEGO. These posts will feature elements such as REVIEWS of any LEGO Star Wars sets I have purchased or i currently own, any tips I have when buying LEGO or any news of upcoming Sales and Deals or any NEW SETS. I’ll try to be as brief as possible, and each entry will be about 500-600 words, though it definitely will be more when i’m doing a review or writing an article piece.

So, check back here often, and I hope to see you soon!

P.S. Please leave your comments below about my writing style, and what you would like to see in future blog posts!
